The setting for it does feel a little unintuitively named however. To change the behaviour of the playlist sidebar appearing to rely on a dedicated button instead, rather than the "hover near edge of window": Go to Settings > Playlist, and uncheck "Toggle with mouse" Additionally, other options to customize its behaviour and appearance are there, such as being able to position it on the opposite side of the window, or have the list be more or less compact. --- As mentioned, the setting is a little unintuitively named, and could be a little more clear to the user. Especially since the default hover-to-open behaviour can be quite distracting or annoying to users who prefer not to have contextual pop-up UI elements like that. Having the option disabled by default honestly makes more sense to me, as a static playlist button feels like the more familiar and less obstructive UX design, but to each their own. I think at the very least, the option should describe what it does a bit more clearly, and perhaps be more prominent in the settings menu than just a small checkbox that's fairly low in the hierarchy of options. Especially given how much it impacts the interface. Am a little torn between closing this as Resolved now, or keeping it open to have discussion be focused more on the latter.
