Multiple other bugs were marked as duplicate of this one and at least the thing I regularly stumble across for months now is still happening. I'm using Kubuntu 26.04, I can put a URL into the clipboard, select to create a new desktop fiel for an URL in Dolphin and am NOT able to paste the clipboard content any more. So, that is what you can't reproduce? It's as easy as that, it never works. One always needs to copy into the clipboard again with the dialog already open. Or are you telling me that my version of KDE/Dolphin is outdated and this behaviour got fixed already?
