Virtual directories (e.g., tags, dates, search results, or any user-defined grouping). Albums provide a flexible way to organize and access images, regardless of their physical location. Collection: Refers to the root location where the top-level albums (physical or virtual) are registered in the database. Collections can be: Local (e.g., a directory on your machine). Remote (e.g., network drives or cloud storage). Removable (e.g., external drives or SD cards). This distinction ensures that users can manage both the logical organization (Albums) and the physical/virtual storage locations (Collections) effectively.
