Well, this is just a simple example.

As I said earlier, I have sometimes encountered such apps where either it was
intended by the author (some annoying ads in the application, or a game that
intercepts such an event and does not allow it to close as usual).

Or it was some kind of bug (for example, the program tried to show a save
dialog when trying to close the app, but there was some problem with the dialog
itself, either it was not shown, or it was shown and gave an error, in general,
it was impossible to exit the program normally and at the same time app did not
'stuck'. 

But of course I'm not saying it happens every day. And I don't remember the
exact names of these apps.
