Only show it when needed If we always show it, then it's a bit redundant with the standard "Close" action, and we'd also be giving users a gun to shoot themselves in the foot with (e.g. causing data loss if there are unsaved changes). If we only show it when needed, then we need to detect "when needed" which means going through KWin's time-based responsiveness checker. Which means it wouldn't actually save any time.
