It's a shame that this has been set as wontfix.
This is one of the numerous regressions between KDE4 and KDE5.
Of all of konqueror's shortcomings, this bug is the one that affects me the
most in my daily use. Despite many bugs in css and javascript rendering,
Konqueror is still the best browser to use when we care about KDE integrations
and especially Plasma Activities.
I am going to try to dig up the code that was ripped, and see if I can patch
konqueror to restore this functionality.
I am currently cloning git://anongit.kde.org/kde-baseapps.git. I hope this is
the right repository.
Could developers who are familiar with the Konqueror code base provide me with
pointers as to about when was the feature removed, and which files in the git
history should I look into?
