SUMMARY
On fresh, untouched Fedora KDE system installation, using the current, latest
available Live ISO, adding custom Duration column in Detailed View in Dolphin
file manager displays length and allows sorting by this parameter. However,
proceeding to install all pending updates, including the latest upgrade to
Plasma 6.6+, disables that functionality and suddenly Duration column does not
display length of videos at all, while the default columns - Size and Modified
still remain unaffected and are still functional. The folder of concern is
Videos, which is by default indexed in system settings: Search section with
File Names and Content parameters.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Installing fresh Fedora KDE from current, latest Live ISO
2. Adding custom Duration column in Detailed View in Dolphin file manager (it
works)
3. Installing all the pending updates, including the upgrade to Plasma 6.6+
OBSERVED RESULT
Custom added Duration column in Detailed View in Dolphin file manager ceases to
display videos length and thus prevents sorting by this aspect.
EXPECTED RESULT
Custom added Duration column in Detailed View in Dolphin file manager displays
length and allows sorting by it.
