The color selector

Dear Developers and Artists,

Thank you for the marvel you do...

---

Apologies, but to clarify, what might cause Gwenvew to not allow to select the
color for drawing during an active annotation process?

I've clarified at lovely Libera IRC channel #kde, and someone responded that
they don't have the same issue on their end, though they specified a different
version, 25.04.3, at the moment of 2025-09-03. They also stated that their
graphics API was Wayland.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Open any image;
2. Activate annotation mode;
3. Try changing color for drawing by clicking on the color selector.

OBSERVED RESULT

The color selector does not appear.

EXPECTED RESULT

The color selector appears.

withing a session of a new User, and the same exact issue was observed.
