Hi Andy,
Thank you for this.  Again, this is very helpful.

Can you please check to make sure "Work on all processor cores" is unchecked?
There's a line in the output that makes me think maybe it is turned on, but I'm
not sure. It's strange.

Also, can you please run 2 more tests, and send us the output?  I want to check
if the same strange output shows up in 2 more tests.

I really think we should give you a credit in the next version of digiKam.
