Bug ID: 500530 Summary: kwin_scene_opengl: 0x502: GL_INVALID_OPERATION with window snapping Classification: Plasma Product: kwin Version: git-stable-Plasma/6.3 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: scene-opengl Assignee: kwin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: nova...@protonmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When i trying to snap a window, a bunch of GL_INVALID_OPERATION occurs. The animation is still done, so that's not an emergency, but it's an issue that should be resolved imo to avoid flooding the journal. By "snapping" i mean the little animation which shows us the new size of the window "snapped" to the top left corner when we move the window to the top left corner for example. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Just move the window to the top left corner or wherever that triggers the snapping animation to occur OBSERVED RESULT The animation is done indeed, but a bunch of GL_INVALID_OPERATIONS are emitted in the journal during that time. EXPECTED RESULT The animation is done, and no invalid operations in the logs.
