I think that the #499913 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499913) is the
same bug as described here.
The steps to reproduce it are the same, and the code that apparently causes the
freeze (the infinite loop in Window::nextInteractiveMoveGeometry in
src/window.cpp) is not specific to either X11 or Wayland, so it should affect
both of them.

And, at least in my case, on my PC, it does affect both X11 and Wayland,
causing a freeze.
