            Bug ID: 499899
Summary: Regression: "Use audio indicators to mute tasks" does
                    not work properly
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 6.3.0
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
Component: Task Manager and Icons-Only Task Manager widgets
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: epictux...@proton.me
                CC: qydwhotm...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

After the upgrade to Plasma 6.3.0, I noticed two things:

1. The option to show/hide audio indicators in the Icons-Only Task Manager has
been renamed to "Use audio indicators to mute task" (if I remember it
correctly, it was "Mark applications that play audio" or something similar).
The new setting name is fine; however, I had it previously turned OFF (personal
preference), but it was turned ON after this update (previous preference was
not preserved).
2. With the new option turned OFF, sometimes it still shows the audio indicator
(with a bit of delay). The only difference I can notice with the option turned
OFF was that the "playing audio" button wasn't clickable, but that's it.

Also, I noticed that in mini-previews (mouse-over on apps in the Icons-Only
Task Manager) show the audio control for the hovered window, even with the
option "Use audio indicators to mute tasks" disabled. I believe that is also
meant to be hidden when this option is disabled.

That's all. Thanks.
