            Bug ID: 498790
Summary: Explanation for "Built-in" ICC profile needed
    Classification: Applications
           Product: systemsettings
           Version: 6.2.5
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: kcm_kscreen
          Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: pos...@posteo.eu
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

The user can choose between "None", a custom ICC Profile and a so called
"built-in" one.

It is unclear to me, where this "built-in" ICC profile comes from, where its
file resides on the system and what it parameters are.

On my Thinkpad with Fedora 41 it also seems to have the same effect as to use
no ICC profile.

Therefore a better explanation, where it comes from and why one should is it
and in which situation would be very helpful. Thanks! :)
