Hi Peppe,
thanks for the improvements on attribute panel.
Today I tested the new date format/panel option.
Thanks for the tests

a) I add a date attribute, digit some dates and modify default value: The format seems to remain yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss.sss even if I set to other format b) it is not possible to modify hous/minutes/seconds/milliseconds. The values on my computer are set to a 12:00:00.000 standard value whatever input I do (and whatever time of the day is). There must be something I don't understand. c) There is an option on Time Panel "yyyy-MM-ddThh:mm:ss.sss" which is not standardized and it doesn't work (it gives back an "illegal pattern Character T" error message)
Yes, yes and yes, there were several bugs which should be fixed now.
Could you please test again ?

d) saving to SHP and open the corresponding DBF file with Libreoffice base, the format is shown as mm/dd/yy format (only date no time), googling around I found that this is a pacularity of dBase format. I wander if the time field is saved for other file formats of OpenJUMP (es postgis)
Yes, OpenJUMP can read/write timestamp to/from postgis. I think it is also OK with jml.

Michaël

best regards

Peppe

    Hi,

Thanks, Ede, for your always relevant advices,

r3914 brings two new features :
    - date display in Attribute panel is now customizable and use the
    yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss.sss
format by default (use display tab in options panel to change it)
    - null values are now displayed wih a small null icon in attribute
    panel
    (as in Kosmo) so that
one can differentiate empty string from null values

    Michaël
