Hi Michael,
thanks for the improvements on attribute panel.
Today I tested the new date format/panel option.
a) I add a date attribute, digit some dates and modify default value: The
format seems to remain yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss.sss even if I set to other
format
b) it is not possible to modify hous/minutes/seconds/milliseconds. The
values on my computer are set to a 12:00:00.000 standard value whatever
input I do (and whatever time of the day is). There must be something I
don't understand.
c) There is an option on Time Panel "yyyy-MM-ddThh:mm:ss.sss" which is not
standardized and it doesn't work (it gives back an "illegal pattern
Character T" error message)
d) saving to SHP and open the corresponding DBF file with Libreoffice
base, the format is shown as mm/dd/yy format (only date no time), googling
around I found that this is a pacularity of dBase format. I wander if the
time field is saved for other file formats of OpenJUMP (es postgis)

best regards

Peppe
