nifty... this should at least allow placing from world file w/ rotation 
parameters. 

for manual placement via geometry i will probably resort to bruteforce warping 
the picture within it's 4 corners, if i get it to work at all.
additionally we could use the ImgLayerMgr 
 "Reset Placement" (to original georeference or 0,0 default) and
 "Place Manually" (bbox or even better 4 coordinates for the corners and 
rotation angle, analogous to wld file data) 
buttons
the second will be probably some work (gui design, pfhhhh). so i'll probably 
not realize it for now.
