You're right, dynamic postgis layers are very interesting but have major drawback. - not only that layer features located outside the view will disappear from the view after a save/reload operation (it maybe surprising, but at least, features are saved in the table) - but if you check the insert/update/delete mode, it may delete all the features from the postgis table except thoses visible in the view (even using a database unique identifier) !
That's one of the reason why I let insert or update without delete modes. The only way I can think of to manage CRUD operations without deleting invisible features is to create transactions containing all user modifications between two save operations. This is a bit more complex than updating the whole layer using identifiers, specialy with dynamic layers.
