Hi Nacho, That is interesting! It would seem that YahooMaps is allowing their data to be served up via a local WMS server. This would seem to make the approach that I proposed much more viable. I'm not sure we want to run a copy of Firefox from a plugin, but if a website was designed to serve up Google Maps or YahooMaps as a JPEG image, it would fairly trivial to write the Java code to display it in OJ.
@abhay, I have attached the GoogleMaps code that one of the programmers here was working on. It works only in Geographic coordinates. You will need to supply your own Google Maps key to make it work.
