....or find a new 3rd file format that save both
projects characteristics  (topologic rules, SLD, layer
and tables relations, hiperlinks....), or at least do
not make changes for other software characteristics.
For instance: I create hyperlinks on Kosmo (Oj still
doesn't have)and save project. Than  I open the
project with OJ, change something and save the
project. When I reopen with Kosmo hyperlinks are not
delated...

This probabily could open more possibility than
Antonio proposal to have a  "save as.." between the
two project formats (Kosmo and OpenJUMP)

Take this proposal as a simple idea, please, I am not
a Java developer so I cannot image the difficulties.
