Hi,

I did not mean one layer option but to give user an option to control the
behaviour? Now there is a layer switch "Selectable" which perhaps might have
side-meaning "Feature info enabled".

Actually

I would disagree with the option to stick only to one layer.
This feature may be especially useful if you would like to compare items
that are on the same position (i.e. old version and new version)
That is, I found it useful to have the feature info run over several layers.

So I would suggest changing this will need a discussion before.
