Here's an example page from a Form-base library I originally wrote back in
1999 that shows of the exact functionality you're looking for:

You can dblclick just fine on an option item to move it to the next box. You
should be able to get to the selectedIndex property just fine.

Well this example is far from jQuerified (I'm coining a new term,) it should
show you what you need.
