It is an entirely a stupid idea to ask each Indian Muslim to beg pardon for the Mumbai terror attack. What we much understand is that it was committed by the Pakistani Army for a larger gain. It is a different matter that some local Muslim youths might have joined it considering it as a part of 'Jehad' (??!!). The whole conspiracy was hatched to topple the democratic government by the Pakistan Army and leave the Americans in the middle of the fight in the north-west frontier. We have seen that democracy is alien to the Islamic nations in general and Pakistan in particular. The Pakistani army cannot tolerate a democratically elected government. To throw away the Nawaz Sharief government in 2000, then Military chief Parvez Musharraf did the Kargil war and then threw the government. Now Parvez Kayani is marching on the footprints of his predecessor. We should expect another coup in Pakistan very soon. This crack-down on LeT was the desired one for the Pakistan Army as it will enrage the all-powerful pro-Islamists. This way it would be quite easier for the military to throw away Zardari & Co and people will not oppose it. Prime Minister called the perpetrators of Mumbai attack as 'elements in Pakistan' but I suspect the involvement of some NATO elements also.
Significantly the terrorists were secular in a perverted way, for they did not distinguish between Hindus and Muslims and killed more Muslims in Mumbai carnage than the Hindus. This incident should be an eye-opener for the so-called Jehadi elements in India who should see the barbaric face of Pakistan.
