I am running JFFNMS on a w2k server and I love it. Now for the move to Linux. I have been running FreeBSD 5.3 and I am getting ready to start the process begining to end.
Maybe I'm biting off too much, being noble, ignorant, or just plain stupid but I am willing to document the whole process if anyone cares. Like most all of the posts I'm reading or have read; I am an Admin of a fair number of systems and my budget is strained by other ("more important") needs. SO, with that being said. Is anyone game? Here are my aspirations and PLEASE if ANYONE has any suggestions throw them my way: 1. FreeBSD 5.3 2. MySQL 3. Apache 2.x 4. JFFNMS and other apps required 5. Dsniff 6. Nessus 7. Ethereal 8. Snort 9. Ntop 10. IPTraf and others My goal is to build an Admin box and show to do it accurately and safely and BE functional. Thanks! And I hope to hear from some of you soon.
