I would like to know how to better to use the "matrix reloaded" feature in combination with the "copy artefacts".
I have a matrix build that has 3 dimensions: component, platform server, win => OK , build=1 client, win, => OK , build=1 client, mac => OK , build=1 at the end, the artefacts are archived. server, win => OK , build=2 client, win => FAIL client, mac => OK , build=2 when one of those 6 fails, I would like to be able to do a new build, to rebuild the failed component client, win => OK, build=3 now, I have another build that does a "copy artefacts" from this matrix build. I have the impression it takes the artefacts from build 1 and build 3, and not those of build 2... 2 questions: 1) how do I get to "copy artefacts" from the "last successful sub-build" rather than the "last successful build"? 2) how do I get the "build=3" to be incremental using the "matrix reloaded" plugin? there is a parameter to pass the "incremental" flag, but either I can specify that parameter, and build all components, or I use the "matrix reloaded" plugin, but then I cannot override the parameter.... thanks for providing some thoughts about how to handle this. -- lode -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Jenkins Users" group.
