Hi! I just started to look into the OpenID plugin in order to ease the management of user accounts for our company, which uses Google Apps. We also, however, work with external contractors that we need to give access to our Jenkins instance.
The ideal configuration would be: - people in our Google Apps can automatically access Jenkins via OpenID (ie, does not require an additional step of creating a separate Jenkins account and then associating them) - non-Google Apps accounts can be created on an as needed basis (ie, accounts without OpenID, same as it works today) It seems this is not possible with the 2 options offered by the OpenID plugin (On-the-Side and SSO modes) - either an admin needs to create accounts for Google App members, or people without a Google App account can't access the system. Is my understanding correct? Is this reasonable to log as a feature request? Thanks, Liam
