Jonathan - Sure, I agree with you that there is no text on the site that explicitly states that there is danger in using the latest and greatest. I assumed as much when I first came to the site. The "Long-Term Support Release" does say "Older but stable" implying potential instability with the weekly Latest and Greatest. Also, this follows along with other projects that release stable LTS builds, while allowing those that want to, to run with the bleeding edge updates.

Perhaps it's my months of experience using the weekly builds that I was also basing my comments on. I started out using the LTS and later moved to weekly builds for my sandbox instance. I've been burned multiple times and now assume that weekly builds are never guaranteed to work. I think it is a reasonable expectation that users will check Community ratings if they exist. A more visible warning would be a good idea.
