I was reading on another JAWS List and someone had used an emoji, if that's
the right word. JAWS described it when I was reading with the down-arrow
key but not the left and right arrows, so it would seem that there was no
colon and closed parenthesis to make a smiling face. Windows 10 can, they
say, bring up a list of emoji with Windows key and either the period or the
semicolon. But if it does, JAWS can't see them, and neither can I! LOL. I
tried recognizing the screen, but got no descriptions. I googled and found
that there is an add-on for NVDA that will make these emoji accessible. Not
having NVDA installed, I can't check. It would be fun if JAWS had this
since we all send stuff to sighted friends.

Presumably, everyone can already do this on their iPhones, but alas, no
iPhone yet. So, again, it would be great if JAWS would let me play! LOL.

Just sayin'

Rebecca
