Amrit Sarkar commented on SOLR-11994:
-------------------------------------

I'd like to work on this. The plan is an opt-in Query Insights module: each
node keeps the most expensive searches it coordinated, by latency and CPU, and
one API returns them across the cluster. Each entry carries the trace id, so it
links straight to the request log and traces. Discussion thread on dev@:
https://lists.apache.org/thread/t7mft9dbntgtp8pjfh3zvomxh8zdobtd. Feedback on
the approach welcome before I open a PR.

> Solr allows you to log slow queries but there should be an API to expose this
> information both on a per-core level and per collection.
