Ishan Chattopadhyaya commented on SOLR-13350: --------------------------------------------- Despite a lot of looking into, I haven't been able to pin point why this is slower than single threaded search (based on the dataset/benchmark posted above). Given that we are so close to 9.7 release, I'm going to work on keeping this disabled by default (with instructions on how enable it for someone who wants to test it out). I'm working on the patch for this, but if someone has any concerns/objections, please let me know.
