This should resolve  ERROR: JAVA_HOME is set to an invalid directory: /home/jenkins/tools/java/latest17 Just that from job itself we need to set JAVA_HOME variable. These are 'shared' nodes and so they could be in use by any Ci like ci-hbase, ci-camel and many more Jenkins Controllers (masters).  And each requires different Java version.   About Jenkins was not able to send mail about the build failure >> Do we need any more configuration on nodes?
