i updated the original fix patch with a test that really will fail without the
fix. There must be a Schema API request that actually manipulates the schema
to see the attributes (
omitNorms, omitTermFreqAndPositions, ... ) are written to the field type. So I
added a POST request to add the date range field with the schema API
This requires that the schema is mutable. I was not able to get the
TestFieldTypeResource schema mutable. So I moved the test to TestBulkSchemaAPI.
Not sure if that's the right place.
