Other committers may chip in here, but as long as any contributions are
unlikely to end up being committed, leaving this OPEN sends the wrong signal.
In any case, this JIRA is now searchable for those who like. And if someone is
willing to contribute their time and energy into maintaining rpm + deb packages
for Solr, I'm sure they will get lots of help from this project!
