I have to say that sounds like a reasonable appendix to make for people running
a cluster with those problems and still allow the rest of us that run a
standalone cluster an easy upgrade path.
So, respectfully, maybe it is worth considering to add package repositories at
least to the wish-list of contributions? Leaving an issue like this open to
signal potential contributors that their contribution is valued would go a long
way towards that goal.
