   I was curious about temperatures ... I ran `sensors` and it produces gobbs 
of output.  I'm not sure why so many of them are in `ALARM`, and I sure hope 
`AUXTIN1` ALARM at 83C is a false positive (Gemini seems to [think 
so](https://share.google/aimode/yeE45ILi4kqU8SwhV)).  I did look at `beast3` 
under load yesterday (while computing the scores for this [cool video 
visualization of KNN 
scores](https://githubsearch.mikemccandless.com/exact_nn_histogram_law_of_large_numbers.mp4)
 (see [luceneutil issue](https://github.com/mikemccand/luceneutil/issues/531) 
for details)) with an IR camera and parts of the motherboard were surprisingly 
hot, I think maybe the components for VRM that step down the power supply DC 
voltage to much lower CPU volts.  Under load, the CPU was pulling/peaking at I 
think ~180 amps, which is wild.  More than my Tesla when it's charging!  But 
Tesla is much higher voltage (~240) and AC not DC so net watts is far higher 
with Tesla, ~11 KW vs ~0.22 KW ish for CPU.
   
   (This all made me remember that I did plug in a new fan at one point, 
because the NVMe drive(s) were running somewhat hot (~46C or so), possibly in 
that one-week window from Jan 22 - 29, and I'm now wondering if it's related.  
I will unplug it when I get home and check.  But how could that be related?  
Maybe motherboard thinks RPM is way too low and does "something"?).
   
   I'll also try to post the IR picture of `beast3` under load.  It's wild.
