I had a great time while there. There were a few disappointments but on the whole it was excellent. The Expo was really good, I came back with a load of cds of things I plan on at least testing. I'm a Network/Systems Administrator and found a few of the sessions very helpful, a few were weak. I did stop by the Thinkgeek booth and request more female cuts and more colors in the t-shirts. I was told that they were planning to carry more of that but right now the demand from the men was really high and they are trying to catch up with that. I do have one rather large bitch. There were several vendor booths where I was treated poorly. At the 3ware booth after telling the guy what my position was and what my company did he asked me what I was doing there. He didn't ask this of my husband...it was though by being a woman I wasn't supposed to be there. I had several other people either talk down to me or completely ignore me. None of them were people directly in the Linux community but rather people just trying to make a buck now that Linux is getting more popular. I did the Sair bootcamp and tests while I was there. Both sucked extremely hard. After seeing them I think I will look at either LPI or Redhat as potential certification routes. I have never seen such horrible questions on a certification exam...from what I've been told Wave is famous for this so maybe that explains it. Oh well, I have a ton of t-shirts (all extra large except for the small and medium from helix-gnome), pens, and cds to look through. It was great show... _______________________________________________ issues mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.linux.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/issues
