i don't fit these criteria,i seriously think i could do very well with a
locked down NC which only have mail client, news client, web client, good sound
app (mp3,cd player) and office apps, that's is my current use of computer, yet
i'm running linux, see below for the reason.

the reason i switched to linux was one of stability and efficiency,i used to
run win95 on a 486/50 with 16 MB of ram (no office suite at the time) and it
was highly unstable,i admit that it was not the best computer for running it
yet i didn't want to go back to win 3.11 so i looked in alternative
(linux,*BSD,experimental,etc...) and i settled on Debian,i admit this one has
a steep learning curve but i don't care,it is better than the other
alternative (win 3.11),now,i have a P100 which could potentially run 95 but i
don't see the need to do it because linux run very fine on it and i intend to
keep it 'till it die,i much more prefer changing software than changing
hardware and this is not a $$$ reason,if i absolutely need to change,i'll
allway find a way to have $$$.
