Google indexes only ~35 of the 257 Ignite 2 documentation pages (checked
2026-10-27);
e.g. /docs/ignite2/latest/monitoring-metrics/system-views is absent and the
query
"apache ignite 2 system views" returns a legacy Ignite 3 page and gridgain.com.
Causes: robots.txt lost "Allow: /docs/latest/" in IGNITE-26313, so crawlers
never see the
301s from the old Ignite 2 URLs; the Jekyll layout emits identical titles for
Ignite 2 and
legacy Ignite 3 pages, no meta description and a relative canonical;
sitemap.xml lists
robots-blocked Ignite 3 URLs and noindex pages with a meaningless lastmod.
