This ticket has no description, so I looked at what is left to do in master.
SingleNodeMessage is 97 lines now: @Order(0..3), a Message field for the
response and an ErrorMessage field for the error. There is no byte[] field and
no hand-written serialization left, so the message serializer migration seems
to cover it.
Maksim, could you say what refactoring is still expected here? If nothing is
left, let's close the ticket.
Context: the ticket got fixVersion 2.19 as part of a rolling upgrade triage,
because any change to a message on the wire has to be merged before 2.19 is
released.
