I would like to work on this issue. My proposed scope is to update the English
and Chinese Execution Configuration pages: remove the deleted type/serializer
registration API entries and the registerKryoType note, and point readers to
pipeline.serialization-config and the existing Data Types & Serialization
examples. Serialization registration is still supported through configuration;
getSerializerConfig() is internal and should not be recommended as a
replacement.
FLIP-398 also removed the force-Kryo/force-Avro methods listed on these pages,
so I propose replacing those entries with links to pipeline.force-kryo and
pipeline.force-avro. I would leave unrelated obsolete methods and the
Table/DataStream integration examples for separate cleanup unless you prefer
including them here. I will validate the documentation with Hugo.
Does this scope look reasonable? Could a committer please assign this issue to
