I am not sure the sql client is using Yarn session mode or per-job mode. And
where did you find the exception, on the client side or in the JobManager log?
I guess it is not a problem caused by different versions of hbase connectors.
Are you sure that it could work for the old version without having connector
jar in the client lib directory?
