@tianon This is just a first step to facilitate easier refactorings. Migrating more (ideally all) of the docker-specific logic into the scripts is the long-term goal, which would be hampered if we'd have to move things bit by bit from one repo (flink-docker) to another (flink). The concern that @wangyang0918 had was that the docker image is now a blackbox (because it does not define in any way what it accepts), and this is what I believe we agreed on to be fine (how else could we move the logic to the distribution).
