I'm running out of ideas how to implement this properly, without changing {{Public}} and {{PublicEvolving}} interfaces. {{boolean collect(record, tag)}} returning true if record was emitted/false when ignored, would allow us to implement this counter on the {{BroadcastingOutputCollector}} level. My last idea would be to add this version of {{boolean collectAndCheckIfEmitted(...)}} to {{RecordWriterOutput}} and use it in {{BroadcastingOutputCollector}} and {{DirectedOutput}} as I proposed above.
