   Yes, the reason (as I said) is that 1.0 still has the code in those 
`kafka.consumer...` packages while in 2.0 they are removed.
   
   Most of the Kafka classes used in `KafkaConsumerTestBase` are deprecated and 
have been removed in Kafka 2.0, that's the problem. Maybe it's enough to copy 
that to the Kafka 2.0 connector and make it work with Kafka 2.0
