The main reason why Apple resets this is because textfields that are used and have a fontsize smaller then 16px. As soon as any textfield is utilized by typing, iOS will, if fontsize smaller then 16px, resize the webview to match at least the dimensions for 16px fontsize. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
