I set only a 1024x1024 icon in a currently used live app and it's ok. I wrote this 5 years ago. It could be, that the 512x512 icon was for non-retina displays, but now all devices are retina. It's good, that the documentation already mentions the 1024x1024 icon. I'm not up-to-date with cordova-ios 8. Will `<icon src="res/icon.png" />` work both for Android and iOS or must the 1024x1024 icon be set only for iOS and Android needs still separate icons? If so, the none alpha channel note can be added to the iOS icon section. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
