As far as I know, none of the icons for iOS can safely have an alpha channel. Note that the whole page about icons is going to need to be rewritten for Cordova iOS 8, where we strongly encourage providing only a 1024×1024 icon size and letting Xcode handle resizing for all the other needed sizes. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
