Then when is the right time? We already have a list of deprecated features, and 
I believe some have already waited 4 years.

Are there particular breaking changes that you think would be ready in 2 years 
time that wouldn't be ready in 1?

I've argued before that there should be a roadmap and a cycle for major 
releases, and if not, then some agreement on what triggers one, but we've so 
far not managed to agree either.
