Another option is simply multiple-choice voting: i.e. allow a voter to vote for multiple candidates, then we simply make the five members be the five people with the most votes.
This has the benefit that it is a simple and easy-to-understand process. I also imagine this would be less difficult to get working on the wiki. There's probably issues with it, though, and I wouldn't be the best person to list them.
