In that case I think I’ll go with openldap >= 2.4 required, as I intend to work on PHP 5.6 and openldap 2.4 was out in 2007, people using PHP >= 5.6 should have an openldap >= 2.4. This will allow us to avoid all these ifdefs. If anyone think this is wrong please speak up. Is there a place where such requirements are supposed to be listed? Côme
