In hindsight I still feel PHP5.4 should have been a new major version which would have allowed a little more stability in the PHP5 stream, while allowing more flexibility to make changes. I was always fobbed of with 'It's only a number', but it IS a lot more than that. People are now referring to a 10 year period for the next major, but 5 year steps just seem a lot more manageable than 2 to 3 year steps? -- Lester Caine - G8HFL ----------------------------- Contact - http://lsces.co.uk/wiki/?page=contact L.S.Caine Electronic Services - http://lsces.co.uk EnquirySolve - http://enquirysolve.com/ Model Engineers Digital Workshop - http://medw.co.uk Rainbow Digital Media - http://rainbowdigitalmedia.co.uk -- PHP Internals - PHP Runtime Development Mailing List To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
